Local care with patience, a little adventure and time to connect.

Tess · Lead Human & Treat Dispenser
I’m Tess, the person behind Kin Canine Co., an East Gippsland local and devoted cavoodle mum to Jimmy. I grew up here and love the coast, the bush and the small outdoor moments that make this region special.
I want dogs to have company, meaningful activity and time to feel settled while their people get on with their plans. That might mean a gentle sniffing walk, a little adventure or quiet reassurance at home.
My background in trauma-informed community support and alcohol and other drug counselling shapes the way I work: patience, clear communication and calm planning. I also hold a certificate in pet first aid.
I take time to learn about your dog’s routine and comfort before agreeing care. This is individual pet care; specialised training, behaviour treatment and veterinary treatment are referred to the appropriate professionals.
I’m passionate about nature and sustainability, and enjoy exploring with a camera in hand. With your permission, I’ll share little photo moments from your dog’s time with me.

Agreed care hours, suitable activity, rest and a clear handover. Tell me what helps your dog settle and anything that could affect safety.
An update after each walk or visit, optional private photos and an agreed veterinary emergency plan.
